CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At Dangan Group Supplies, ethical trading and sustainable procurement are key to our approach to corporate social responsibility.
We engage strictly with highly reputable suppliers and manufacturers that subscribe to the principles and requirements of the internationally renowned Modern Slavery Act (UK), legislation designed to empower responsible business practices and enhance working conditions through world-wide supply chains. In Ireland, these principles are legislated under the Criminal Law (Human Trafficking) Act 2008, as amended by the Criminal Law (Human Trafficking) (Amendment) Act 2013.2.).
Modern slavery is considered an international crime and affects roughly 40 million people across the globe, with children accounting for one in four victims, while three quarters are women. By subscribing to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act, Dangan Group Supplies makes a genuine contribution to ending modern slavery throughout global supply chains by refusing to engage with suppliers that are involved in, or have links to forced labour including child labour, excessive working hours, harsh treatment, discrimination, insufficient wages, and unsafe and unhygienic workplaces.
We audit our suppliers regularly to ensure they continue to source and manufacture products responsibly and ethically. Not only does this help make an impact on modern slavery, it also ensures that our commitment reflects positively on our reputation – and ultimately, yours.
When you work with Dangan Group Supplies you can be assured your corporate social responsibility and sustainability values are respected and held to the highest possible standards.
